Pray 4 snow

A few days ago was in thun the pray 4 snow. It‘s the biggest city-rail event in switzerland. It was pretty sick, a lot of people looked the competition and there was the whole swiss freeski scene. My shoulder wasn’t ready to skiing so i’d filming my friends.

At first was the qualifikation for the finals. Yannic, Nathan and Benjamin started in the strong heat 1. Nathan made it to the good 6. Place and was qualified for the finals. Yannic & Benjamin had bad luck and missed the finals. Then in heat 2 Sandro. He shows solid tricks and was even qualified.

The Finals were in the KO format. Two riders battle each other and the skier who won two runs first is in the superfinals. Nathan had to battle with a french guy, he had a bail and lost his fight. Sandro ride vs his brother Fabian. The Brothers had a sick fight and finally fabian wins.

No one of my friends had made it to the superfinals and so we went out. The afterparty was sick and one of us is getting way too much crunk. It was funny to bring him home…

Bad News

Our friend and R-F Production Rider Michel Goncalvez had a bad accident. Last Sunday he was snowboarding on the slope, made a wrong move and knocked his shoulder out. His shoulder is fucked up four times already and now he must make an operation to reduce his bands.

Saas Fee

I arrive in saas fee 3 days befor the weekend starts. I made my skills better at half pipe and rails. I think the park is better that in zermatt, but all is in the shadow. On Friday arrived two friends: Phil from thun and Benjamin Kronig , the brother of David. Phil take his ps 3 along to saas fee. So after the skiing we play all night long whit the ps 3. Phil leaves us on Sunday and miss a good day in saas fee. Me and my friends doing some little jibs in the sport area in saas fee. Two of us stay till Monday and had a funny back travelling to zermatt.

Shoulder Injury

David‘s Bail

One of the last day‘s in the summerpark in zermatt, me and dave are jumping the big kicker in the park. We had trying some new tricks on the snow. The weather was a little bit windy, but we keep on to hit the kicker. So the results of this bad idea was a big crash by david. He overshoot the landing with an overspinned 900 tail grap. David made some noise and hold his left arm. I saw the crash and get some help. A shaper from the park had calling the saver . The helicopter was coming and the doctor made the diagnose that it was a shoulder injury. The saver had given Dave some drugs and put the shoulder back in it.

David is out for a month.

Hey Everybody

We decided a few days ago to make a special Shooting, a Sunset Session. The whole royal family production crew was up on the hill. We had 2 cameras for filming every jump and a fotographer.

We are getting up early and had hit the park all Morning long until the ski lift had closed. Then we had waiting for the sunset. After a while sitting on the shaper-house, it was boring and so we decided to build a little jib by the ski lift mast.

During the Jib Session, the sun was going down and we were ready to make some tricks at the Big Air. The light was awesome and we had so much fun to hit it. We made some Flatspins, Sw. 7s and cork 9s. Sadly, it was going to fast dark and after one hour we had finished the Shooting. We had made a lot of great video and picture stuff.

Then it was time to made the way to our beds. We slept up on the glacier, in the testa grigia. We must walking half an hour and it was damn cold. Finally we arrived and grabbed some italian food and checked the pics and vids from the shooting befor we finished the day.

The Londonride

Last Weekend, David, Yannic and Janne did a trip to London. We were invited to the Londonride. In the middle of a huge expo was the Big Air. The Competition was on a little jump on carpet – it was difficult and all of us had problems with the landing on carpet. It had so much people where looked at the comp and it was so sick to perform. Yannic made it to the finals and on the good 8. place. After the Event, we gave Interviews for Eurosport.

Later that day, we are going back to our hotel. The hotel was like wow, but the TV’s doesn’t work after a little accident with the transformator and the outlet… In the evening, we are playing a word-game with the only purpose to drink lots of alcohol. It was really funny and there came words out like: Lordi-Voldi-werfen. We finished the game and went out. The nightlife in London is so sick and we had a lot of fun. We turned home in the early morning and looking forward to had a few hours to sleep. Our flight back to swiss departed at 2 pm and so we struggle to get up. All of us are tired and Yannic had the idea to make toast hawai in the microwave.

Then it was time to made the way to the airport. We took taxi and train and arrived at Gathwick. Short befor we are going on board, we spent all our coins money for disgusting snacks and drinks.

Way home

Finally we arrived in Zürich and at first we are going to a restaurant. We are so bright to eat something “normal” cause the food in Great Britain is really bad. Then we drove home and felt tired as hell in our beds. It was a great weekend & damn good times. We had explored London, rode a comp and had so much fun.
